"Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand" - Chinese Proverb
Most of us are fortunate enough to have studied in good schools and now leading a life in a comfortable place, courtesy our parents and teachers. But situations are not same everywhere and for everyone, especially for children studying in the rural areas where every aspect of schooling is a challenge in itself. The challenges start with the bare necessities of Schooling like pens, pencils and note books. And as and when they progress on to higher grades they come across much bigger challenges in bridging the gap between what was taught and what they should have studied. It’s difficult to understand an atomic structure, or to recollect the facts and figures of events occurred in history and most of the time they would have forgotten what they learnt in the previous academic year.

Aakruthi, as a team, is one small step towards involving the children studying in government schools of the rural areas of Karnataka to grab their interest in School in an effort to make them understand what they are taught, to help them remember what they learnt and ensure that they dont forget the joy and significance of learning.

We feel that we are trying to fulfill a small duty to lend a helping hand to those who are in need of it and we seek your participation and support in realising the same
